How We Make Recommendations

Every recommendation meets one test: would we tell a friend who asked us honestly? If it's worth the queue, we say so. If it's overrated, we say that too. The Trevi Fountain at 2pm in August is a genuinely unpleasant experience — but at midnight in March it's one of the most beautiful things in Europe. That kind of nuance is what we're here for.
